About the Course

Art & Craft refers to a variety of activities related to making things with one's own hands. This is a very creative field in which we can turn our hobby into a professional. It hones our hand skills and also requires dedication and hard work from us. This two-year Diploma in Art & Crafts program is for anyone interested in craft work or anyone who has an inclination towards art & crafts. This Diploma course is designed with the objective of giving the students the knowledge of various activities in arts and crafts, in which our faculty professionals provide complete guidance to the students to turn their hobby into a professional by guiding them according to their creativity. The objective of this course is to refine the creative skills of the student's hidden talents. After gaining knowledge of the fundamentals of drawing and different activities in art & crafts, students will be able to do works like craft with paper, decorative craft, useful decor, creative craft, craft painting, and art of waste materials. In this course, students will also learn some special activities such as soft toy making, mirror glass work, wood cutout craft, puppet making, punch craft, explosion box making, relief work, ceramic work, etc. Proper knowledge of color theory and how to paint with a medium like acrylic is also given to the students in this course to make their craft work better. Students are also guided according to their creativity in new techniques to make their work different from others. In some activities such as paper craft, origami, explosion box etc, students are also given knowledge of computer designing in this course to make their craft work better visible in the market. Here students get a chance to get the best variety of knowledge of Indian traditional art like warli painting, gond art, tanjore painting, mandala art, and Lippan art. In this course students will get a chance to make the best out of any material, also focus on converting any simple object into a professional handicraft. It also emphasis on how using our own creativity we can make a beautiful thing out of waste or basic material and change into valuable item. This encourage students to devote more and more for art and helps in building up their confidence level in making their career. In this course, students can integrate a variety of professional and creative skills and at the end of the course they also receive a recognised diploma. Our aim is to provide the right knowledge and guidance to the students and create an environment that not only leads the students to the path of success but also motivates them to identify and explore their potential. We are equipped with well-qualified and experienced faculties apart from specific study material which helps the students to achieve the designed goal.
