About the Course

Applied Art applies aesthetic principles to the decoration of useful objects. It is a mix of artistic design to practical and functional things that we see in our daily life. In other words, it can be said that it is commercial art where the artist works on the demand or order of the vendor. This two-year Diploma course in Applied Art is designed to enable the students to take up all aspects of art like illustration, cartoon drawing, industrial design, etc. towards commercialization. It offers advanced courses for students to start their careers or hone their skills. At the beginning of this course, students are introduced to all the drawing and designing techniques. After gaining knowledge of all these techniques, students will be able to do still life, composition, portrait, cartoons, illustrations, and posters. Students can easily bring their imagination on the paper. The teachers do their best to improve the skills and talents of the students and guide them in the right way. Students practice and experience practical knowledge in sketching and designing, also some craft activities are included for the students to make the curriculum more interesting and engaging. To meet the demand of today's market, knowledge of manual, as well as computerized work, is necessary, so in this course, students are given knowledge of manual as well as computer designing. In this course, students can integrate a variety of professional and creative skills and at the end of this course they also receive a recognised diploma. After doing a diploma in applied arts, students can work in the field of graphic design, illustrator, multimedia artist, comic artist, animation, web designer, freelancer artist, etc. Career opportunities in this field are increasing day by day, so it can be a better option from a career point of view. Our aim is to provide the right knowledge and guidance to the students and create an environment that not only leads the students to the path of success but also motivates them to identify and explore their potential.
