About the Course
This two-year Diploma in Fine Arts program is for anyone interested in painting or anyone who has an inclination towards painting. Painting is a centuries-old form of fine art that involves applying paint on a canvas to create a picture. The objective of this course has been to acquaint the students with the principles related to the history of art and to enhance the skills of the hidden talents of the students. In this course, students learn to paint with the most popular mediums such as oil colour, acrylic colour, watercolour, poster colour, pastel colour and mixed media. Also, special indoor and outdoor sketching classes are conducted for the students to make good skills in sketching. After gaining knowledge of drawing and different mediums, students will be able to do works like still life, composition, figurative work, landscape, cityscape, seascape, portraits, devotional work, and abstract art. Students can easily bring their own imagination through suitable colors on the canvas. The teachers do their best to improve the skills and talents of the students and guide them in the right way. To make the curriculum more interesting and engaging some craft activities have been included for the students like block printing, smoke painting, collage art, paper origami, paper mache, relief work, mirror glass work, and art of waste materials. New techniques are also guided to the students to make their work different from others. Popular arts of India like Warli Painting, Gond Art, Madhubani Painting, Tanjore Painting, etc. have also been included in this course. Such an environment is provided in the campus so that students feel free to create as per their choice with proper instruction. In this course, students can integrate a variety of professional and artistic skills and at the end of the course they also receive a recognised diploma. It also focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of Fine Arts Diploma studies. Our aim is to provide the right knowledge and guidance to the students and create an environment that not only leads the students to the path of success but also motivates them to identify and explore their potential. We are equipped with well-qualified and experienced faculties apart from specific study material which helps the students to achieve the designed goal.
